Faith Assembly is a congregation of believers, serving the Washington, DC Metro area, with particular emphasis on its home area, Capitol Heights, Maryland, as well as reaching the world for Jesus.
God has molded a committed, functioning church who has established a recognized ministry under the apostolic leadership of Bishop Mitchell Way with his wife, Nancy.
The foundational ministries of the Apostles is what we believe - establishing, caring, and providing for the needs of the Body; and the Prophetic - pointing the way ahead, building, and encouraging are operative at Faith Assembly, with strong emphasis upon praise, worship and living the Word of God. The history of any organization is written in the lives of its people and their experiences. The life of Faith Assembly is expressed in its people. In its vision of a church called to the metro DC area with influence in all areas of ministry, Faith Assembly has responded to the call of Christ to fulfill His vision in this generation.
