Through the Eyes of My Pastor:
A Vessel of Grace and Mercy
As a pastor, it is my constant hope that the word which God allows me to preach is received, digested, assimilated and demonstrated in the lives of those whom I have the privilege of leading. Since joining our congregation a few years ago, Minister James Wesley Smith has encouraged me often by his humble acceptance of God's truth. His willingness to be molded by the gospel of Jesus Christ is a continual source of inspiration to me. A man who enthusiastically acknowledges the grace and mercy of God in his own life, Wes has taken on the mission of sharing that message of grace and mercy with those who "have an ear".
His commitment to Christ has given him the courage to be transparent in the writing of his life's story, and my prayer is that all whose eyes fall on the pages of this book will be blessed, and recognize that they too are objects of God's grace and vessels of His mercy.
