Mother Nancy Way is a native Washingtonian. She is one of eight children born to James and Gladys Cox. She is the graduate of McKinley High School where she met her husband of 38 years, Bishop Mitchell A. Way. Mother Way has two daughters, Michelle and Lauren and two granddaughters, Morgan and Taylor. She is first lady of Faith Assembly of Christ in Capitol Heights, Maryland, where she and her husband have labored for 17 years.
Mother Way is a Sunday School Teacher and Praise and Worship leader at Faith Assembly. She has conducted workshops, retreats and seminars and is committed to counseling and working with feeding the homeless. She conducts a Intercessory Prayer Group whose goal is to intercede for others in difficult situations through the power of prayer. Mother Way promotes the growth of the church and continuously fosters a friendly environment where the members of the congregation and visitors serve the Lord with unity and with gladness.
Mother Way received the gift of the Holy Ghost as a teenager and is an altar worker with those who desire to receive the Holy Ghost. She is striving to live so that others will see Jesus in all her undertakings, and will want to accept the Lord Jesus as their Savior. God has opened many doors to Mother Way to allow her to minister throughout the area, especially to hurting women.
For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Tim 1: 12b
