all will be affected? Remove this wicked person from among you so that you can stay pure. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.’ 1 Cor. 5:6-7 NLT

This is Paul's address to the church at Corinth concerning a man that was practicing immoral behavior. But it is very relevant in dealing with homosexuality in the church of today. Homosexuality cannot be tolerated on any level in the church because the bible says that it will affect everyone.

But how? Well, when you see it over and over again, it begins to look normal or not as bad. Many of us are so used to seeing homosexuals direct the choir, sing songs, or play the organ at church, that it doesn't bother us anymore. Then, when this person is deathly ill from the AIDS virus because of his lifestyle, we all pity him and begin to get concerned. It's a shame that we use these souls to entertain us, minister to us, and yet they are living a lifestyle that will inevitably send them to hell.

The Gospel Music Workshops of America, which was founded by James Cleveland, one of the most popular homosexual gospel recording artists of his time, is still going on and there is always a major gathering of talented homosexuals from churches all around this country. It is a shame that they are accepted, applauded, and cheered on during the services, and then congregate late night in hotel rooms and alleyways to indulge in sexual perversions and immorality. Our EX Ministries team went to this event on yesterday and the things we saw were unimaginable. Gay men and lesbian women far out numbered straight ones. Cross dressed men, men holding hands with their lovers, and flamboyant Gospel recording artists all walked around with pride and no shame! It was hard to believe! And yet for the sake of getting a recording deal, or getting an opportunity to sing on stage, no one addressed it!

We must pray for them. But like Paul says, we cannot get used to it or even tolerate it. We must put them out until they are ready to change. As long as they are

welcomed the way they are they will not desire to change. We must then be on guard to remove them from positions in the church because the bible says they will affect ALL if we allow them to remain. Homosexuality is not for the church and should never be tolerated on any level as a constant practice. If they desire to repent and change, then it's all good. But if they are wanting to practice this lifestyle in the church, then the bible

says to put them out and give them to the devil for the destruction of the flesh, so they might be won.

If they are never made aware that they are not allowed to live like that in the church, then they will never change. I know this seems like a harsh message, but this is the message that I read from the bible. Read it for yourself. 1 Corinthians 5!

It is sad to know that many of the Gospel recording artists of our day are homosexuals.

Many of them have even confessed it, come out of it, only to find themselves going back to it over and over again.

What is the problem here? Well, the problem is the spirit of the homosexual. You see, because Lucifer in heaven was the chief musician, it¹s easy to put the pieces of this puzzle together. The talent that he had was God given, but his heart was not right. His intentions were wrong and his desire to be in front, in charge, and worshipped by others was what ultimately lead to his fall. A Gospel recording artists that struggles with

homosexuality is no different.

First, they have the image of the antichrist because they do not procreate or bring glory to the creator. And being in front, in charge of the worship, and worshipped by fans is a sure way to be bound by the very spirit that Lucifer, the fallen angel possessed. You see, if you are singing, writing, or performing gospel music, or leading others into worship, and the spirit of homosexuality has entered into you at some point in your life, then you are only feeding that spirit with the applause of the crowd, the worship of your fans and the prestige of being in charge of the worship.

I know you are thinking, ‘How in the world can all this be going on during the worship of God?’ Well, instead, ask yourself this, ‘How in the world did Lucifer get cast out of heaven when he was leading the worship there?’ Or ‘How in the world did he get 1/3 of the angels to follow his agenda in the very presence of God?’

Now you see that this is all a repeat of the events that took place in the beginning in heaven. The homosexual craves the worship of God, not for what it does for God, but what it does for the homosexual. It puts them in a high place and gives them the job that the enemy once had all over again. The devil wants his place back as a praise leader, but on his terms. (defiled, sinful, immoral, etc. just like most of our Gospel recording artists).

Is there a question in anyone's mind why music draws them in out in great numbers? Why are they always associated with self promotion, music or movies, drama, acting, etc? It's because that's what Lucifer desired in heaven and he is having an unchallenged field day in our churches and music industry!

I encourage those that have been delivered from homosexuality or those that struggle with it, to remove yourself from the lights, camera, action, of the industry and humble yourself, so that every desire that you have will line up with the desires that God gives.

Being up and in front of people will only feed that arrogant homosexual spirit and your deliverance is almost impossible in that state. You will constantly find yourself up and down, or falling down and getting up. But you see, falling down as a homosexual can lead to premature death, murder, or reproach and could be the end of you or your conscience. God wants you in his image and operating in his glory, not your own.

I encourage you to seek help for this and not just possess a talent, but embrace the giver of your talents. With God, it's possible, but are you willing to lose yourself and die to your own desires?
